Valley Volunteer FD in coordinated efforts with EVERY volunteer fire department in the Marion County region accepted a 2016 SAFER grant award to begin enhance our recruitment and retention efforts. We are very proud of all the departments in our area that have come together to enhance the public safety services that we provide.

Flash Flooding

The region was hit with heavy rains and flash flooding this past week. Please remember to go around! Do not drive into water!

Working together to help the community!

 At Approx 1450 hours on April 25, 2017,  WDVFD was alerted for vehicle accident on  Prickett's Fort Road with possible entrapment. Rescue 133 Brush 139 and  Engine 134 all responded along with help from Valley VFD Rescue 121.  Crews arrived on scene with confirmed entrapment. Extraction was  conducted and the patient was safely extracted from the vehicle with  very minor injuries.. Great Teamwork from all involved.  “Neighbors  helping Neighbors

Power line fires can cause serious issues during early morning traffic and travel.
